Some indications point to that we could have the first LGBTI character in the Star Wars saga
GAYLES.TV.- It is not easy at all to orient yourself in the galactic universe of Star Wars, terms like the canon warsie, temporary jumps and plots parallel to the saga manage to mislead even the most fanatical.
But if today we talk about Star Wars is because according to some publications like Screen Rant, riding a "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" could appear the first LGTBI character of the saga. The supposition arises from a very important scene of the novel "Read: Princess of Alderaan" from the writer Claudia Gray, where it is possible to glimpse this first personage, in particular a woman that would appear in the Episode VIII.
The scene to which we refer the protagonists of the characters of Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Amilyn Holdo and the dialogue between the two women, which we reproduce below, reveals the probably lesbian orientation of Amilyn:
- READ: "They are only male humanoids to me."
- HOLDO: "Really? That seems very restrictive. "
The question would be, what is restrictive for Amilyn Holdo? That they are men or simply that they are human? We will have to wait for the premiere of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" to leave doubts about the sexual orientation of Amilyn, a character who plays Laura Dern.
