Trans * Laboral will take place on November 9 and 10 in Sabadell

GAYLES.TV.- Trans * Labor born with two objectives. On the one hand, generate a space for labor intermediation between entities / companies and people trans* to facilitate their access to the labor market; and on the other, offer a training space in social economy and cooperativism for people trans*, promote awareness, training and commitment on the labor rights of people trans* between the entities and companies involved.

Trans * Labor Anja Weber slateAlba Barbé, director of the documentary «EnFemme » and one of the promoters of this meeting for the intermediation of people trans* explains how the idea came about: «The light on Trans * Labor begins with a news item that circulates through the networks of the The Center, a center LGTBI What is there in New York, in which there is an annual meeting of gay friendly companies that provide stands where people LGTBI they can come closer and find work«.

Trans * Labor aims to transfer this spirit by contextualizing it with the particularities offered by Catalonia, historically a pioneer in the field of associationism. «We want to involve these companies that are called socially responsible and try to link the associative fabric in this commitment to transform the look towards a transpositive place »adds Barbé.

Trans * Labor is an initiative of Ca l'Enredus-Actuavallès in coordination with the Ateneu Cooperatiu del Vallès Occidental and Teler Cooperatiu that has the support of Ajuntament de Sabadell, Barcelona Activa - Barcelona City Council, Xarxa SAIS and Directorate General d'Igualtat of the Generalitat de Catalunya and of the entities Colors of Ponent y Generate. Will take place on days 09 and 10 of November in Sabadell.
