GAYLES.TV.- Madrid City Council is installing 288 new lights in the semaphores with images of homosexual couples. This initiative to promote diversity and make the collective visible LGTB + is part of the celebration of the Pride that the consistory is doing for the next World Pride which will take place from June 23 to July 2 in the capital.
The inclusive semaphores will be located in the 21 districts of the city and have a cost of $21.747. But it is not a momentary bet, once the World Pride events are over, the new signs located at 72 crosses will be permanent.
Madrid It is not the first city to adopt this initiative. In Spain, traffic lights with homosexual couples had already been installed last January in San Fernando de Henares, Cadiz. The European antecedent is found in Vienna the year 2015, when facing the gala of Eurovision also removed the 'gay friendly' traffic lights.
