NEWS.- In Chueca not a single pin or a fan could fit, but the staff withstood the heat as they could to hear the proclamation that gives the starting signal to the most anticipated parties, Pride of Madrid 2015.
A special Pride for many reasons. For the first time, the rainbow flag will fly in the City Hall and in the Headquarters of the Government of the Community of Madrid, not to mention Cibeles, which finally looks proud of its colors. On the other hand the 10 years of the approval of the equal marriage are celebrated and of course, it will be the Pride that remembers and pays homage to the recently disappeared Pedro Zerolo.
Sandra Barneda presented the act and the delivery of the prizes Sample-t, while the proclamation was in charge of Cayetana Guillén Cuervo and Alejandro Amenábar who proudly wore the engagement ring while people chanted her name. The proclamation had a vindictive character and a tribute to Zerolo, for whom it was asked that the Plaza Vázquez de Mella be renamed Plaza de Pedro Zerolo.
In this edition of MADO and for the first time, the Pride march will be broadcast live on Telemadrid. March that will head the theme of this year: "Laws for Equality Real, Already!".
