Robert Biedron has a degree in Political Science and is a leader of the Polish homosexual rights movement (Campaign Against Homophobia).
In 2011 he became the first openly gay deputy in Polish history, in a legislature in which the first transgender deputy from Poland, Anna Grodzka, a fellow of Biedron, also acceded to Parliament.
