Valentijn De Hingh revolutionizes the Rijksmuseum

GAYLES.TV.- Shocking the image of Valentijn De Hingh in the Rijksmuseum de Amsterdam. The model poses with the flags of the 72 countries where homosexuality is illegal to denounce the homophobia and to make visible the expression of gender and identity in the world. Of these 72 countries, in 12 there is death penalty for being gay. The dress is a creation of the designer Mattijs van Bergen and the photograph is of Pieter Henket.

Valentijn by Hingh Pieter Henket«The flag of each country that changes its legislation will be replaced by the multicolored flag. Let's hope that soon this dress represents a mosaic of rainbow flags », declared the trans model who hopes that it means more than just a dress and serves to take action. The ultimate goal would be for all the different flags to come together to form just one: the rainbow. The dress was created with the help of the local organization LGBT group COC Nederland who gathered the flags to transform them after the march of the Pride Festival of Amsterdam.

The photographic session was held in the room where works of art Rembrandt. Photography is much more powerful with «The Night Watch" background.
