Fleur and Julia The tragedy of Julia Boom

Julia Boom had a shared dream with his wife, Fleur Pierets: to marry in the 24 countries where their union was legal, cancer has broken that dream in just 2 months

GAYLES.TV.-  Julia Boom He has lost the battle against cancer, a brief two-month battle against a brain tumor that has claimed his life for the 40 years. His couple, Fleur Pierets 44 years old, announced last Monday the tragic news on her personal Facebook account: “Tomorrow at 11 am my precious Julia, the love of my life will be cremated in a small village in France where she felt“ a little dizzy ”Just 2 months ago. Where our life changed forever. I know our friends understand my need to do it alone, but I would like to ask you to think about it. And wish you a safe journey…. I will listen to the song that will always remind me of it. The first time I saw his face, it was as if someone turned on the light. Now there is only darkness, silence and a devastating loneliness ”. Fleur shared the post on Facebook alongside the version of George Michael from "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face".

After the cremation, Pierets thanked the support received from friends and acquaintances: "I am so grateful for all those candles, incense, thoughts, vibrations and prayers that you have sent this morning ...".

Doctors diagnosed Julia with cancer by announcing that in just three months she would probably go into a coma as the tumor enveloped her brain and heart. The chances of overcoming it were nil. Fleur remembers how they began to suspect that something was wrong since Julia could barely eat and had passed out on several occasions. It is curious the silent way in which tumors developed without being detected, despite the fact that Julia herself faced breast cancer in 2016.

The couple had become popular by announcing a shared dream last year, the challenge of getting married in 24 countries. It was about traveling around the world contracting marriage in all those countries that had legalized marriage between people of the same sex.

Their first union was held in New York in September…. Sometimes life gets really screwed up. Rest in peace Julia.
