Hundreds of members of the police force in England are being investigated for sharing homophobic messages on their social networks. The scandal has been unveiled by the British Press Association and at the moment it affects none other than 828 agents between England and Wales.
It should be noted that many of those investigated belong to the Manchester area, which is considered one of the cities with the greatest tolerance when it comes to the LGTBI community.
The police officers involved flaunted their discriminatory stance with comments of special homophobic harshness and boasting in a personal capacity, which is facilitating the work of their peers when it comes to identifying them.
Members of the police force manifest a special interest in clarifying the whole matter to recover the image of the institution.
