NEWS .- Andalusia will have groups of teachers prepared against LGTBI discrimination in 8 provinces. This initiative was born by the ARCO IRIS, with the program "OASIS", and has been collected by the Ministry of Education of the Junta de Andalucía and its general director of Equity, with which they commit to invite teachers to work explicitly in favor of respect for and diversity.
This year it will become the «pilot course»Of the next actions that will be carried out in all the centers in favor of standardization and visibility of the LGTBI collective.
The centers will conduct a study of the level of homophobia of its students, using the survey that analyzes the «permanence of stereotypes», the level of trust towards the family and the use of the «fag» insult in the educational environment. The group of teachers will also view the documentary «It is fundamental to talk about homosexuality in school"To Ancora Audiovisual, and will reflect on the pros and cons of the different ways of celebrating June 28 in the corresponding centers with the "OASIS" program.
