The real gods of the stadium dazzle in Rio

GAYLES.TV.- A few days ago we told you an excellent news:  the number of LGBTI athletes out of the closet participating in the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro has doubled in relation to the past London Games of the 2012. And we told you in the article "Olympic Lesbians"You can recover by following the link. We gave priority to girls because the percentage of athletes who have seen their homosexuality is overwhelming in relation to boys, almost three quarters are lesbians.

But that does not mean that some have not been brave enough to take the step and today we bring some of their names and especially their photos, because the truth is that the boys have a body of heart attack.

Jeffrey-Wammes

So without further ado we start the list and we do it with Jeffrey Wammes, a gymnast from the Netherlands who with 66 kg and 1'71 meters of stature has possibilities of classification in masculine soil, but the truth is that he has won out in the article for the photo, so we are going to fool !

Ian Matos

A discipline very well represented by gays in these games is the trampoline jump. Ian Matos of 24 years representing Brazil, came out of the closet in an interview to the newspaper the "Correio" ignoring his friends who advised him to wait to pass the Olympic Games 2016. The boy only hopes that his position does not pass bill when it comes to getting sponsorships.

Another great diver (yes, that's the name that trampoline jumpers receive!) Is the media Thomas Daley representing Great Britain, which, incidentally, is the delegation with the largest presence of LGTBI participants. Tom has for the moment already harvested the bronze in 10 meters synchronized male. In his country is an authentic legend, that of a life that deserves a separate article.

And a Spaniard who came out of the closet shortly before concentrating for the Rio Games. We talked about the Real Canoe player of water polo Víctor Gutierrez that to his 25 years he has declared "As a homosexual athlete, I feel the responsibility to give the face". Thank you, Victor and good luck!

Connor Taras

And we close this selection with the Canadian Connor Taras, kayaker with a long history of LGBTI fighting. He currently serves as ambassador for the Canadian Olympic Committee in the One Team's initiative that aims to combat homophobia in sport.

It is evident that in this selection are not all that are but we can assure you that yes they are all that are.

Happy Olympic Games!
