The 7 edition of FITUR (LGBT) starts under the motto "Tourism in peace, sustainable tourism"
GAYLES.TV.- Few people could have foreseen in the cold January of the 2011 that that modest division of the fair FITUR of tourism dedicated to LGBT tourism that had only 4 exhibitors, would grow exponentially until reaching the incredible participation figures of this edition. The growing demand of destinations, companies, hotel chains, airlines and tour operators has forced to double, practically, the 100% of the stands. And all this backed by the recognition of companies and institutions worldwide.
But the main factor that differentiates this one from past editions is that with the fair there is also the kick-off to the "MADRID WORLD PRIDE 2017", which will take place between the 26 of June and the 2 of July of this year in Madrid and that under the motto "Live life", will encompass a multitude of activities. In short, it is the largest urban event that will host the capital of Spain in the 2017. Hence, the name of this special edition is that of "FITUR GAY (LGBT) 2017 WORLD PRIDE EDITION". The forecast of the impact that can have on the influx of LGBT tourists to our country is about 3 million visitors, which, in addition to contributing to the normalization of the sector, means a high creation of wealth and employment for Spain.

But the importance of this edition is evidenced by facts such as that a European High Commissioner asks to participate from the European Commission, that Colombia participates with four stands, that Valencia also has four, that new countries such as Ecuador or Costa Rica join repeat for the seventh year, that NH Hotels, NH COLLECTION and AXEL HOTELS are incorporated for the first time…. as well as numerous companies and new destinations.
During the 5 days of the competition, professionals and numerous experts in tourism and people related to the LGBT segment, will give lectures and participate in round tables and debates in a complete program with more than 60 papers. All this can be followed in streaming in the web of FITUR, FITUR GAY (LGBT) and in the channel of «Florida TV ZTV » with broadcast throughout the US and Latin America.
And of course one more year «GAYLES.TV » will have the honor of being the official television of the contest that will cover the main events of the fair. For its part "Chueca.com Bridge", official radio of FITUR GAY, will broadcast live the 5 days, as well as the news portal "LIFE.LGBT" which has displaced journalists and bloggers to cover all the information of the event.
As every year the headquarters of FITUR GAY will be the Pavilion number 3 of IFEMA (The Americas) in Madrid Spain between the days 18 and 22 of January.
