GAYLES.TV.- Yesterday we published a photo of the colored sneakers of Adidas with the news that the sports brand has decided to establish a new clause in its contracts that protects its LGTB athletes. Of course, it generated mistrust comments along the lines that "they no longer know what to do to sell." But even knowing that, indeed, many brands position themselves with the LGTBI cause due to a marketing issue, we wanted to tell here the story of the mega zasca that Adidas has done to homophobes through sAdidas Valentine's Day Gayles.tvus social networks.

The thing started when Adidas decided to celebrate Valentine's Day by uploading a photo to its Instagram account, which heads this article, in which it is clearly appreciated that the protagonists are two women and that, although it is left to the free imagination of each which, it follows that they are kissing. The image was accompanied by the phrase "The love you take is equal to the love you make ", that is "The love you receive is equal to the love you give". Beautiful. As it turns out that some people felt terrible and began to post comments like "I erase Adidas and I pass to Nike".

The first to react were other users with type responses: "OK, we will not miss you" or "Nike also loves the gays, so you can go windy". But no doubt what made the topic viral was the response of the brand: before the phrase WHAT A SHAME, ADIDAS! I'M GOING TO NIKE RIGHT NOW », Adidas responds with two emoticons, the little hand saying goodbye and a kiss. First zasca! But the best was yet to come. Another user writes with anger, BUT WHAT THE FUCK ADIDAS? VALENTINE'S DAY IS A DAY FOR A BOY AND A GIRL WHO ARE A COUPLE, NOT FOR LESBIANS, STUPID ADIDAS ».  The elegant response of the brand does not wait: "No, this day is for love. Happy Valentines Day" And another kiss !!!

Only it was necessary for an influential user to echo the issue so that Adidas' response became viral and of course, it would position the brand in a very favorable way among the LGTBI and gayfriendly staff.

Are we really facing a market strategy? Frankly, we think not, because the thing could have been in a simple comment on Instagram. In addition, this, which is still an anecdote, is part of the context of a clear positioning of the brand by the LGTBI cause.

So I do not know you, but the people of Gayles.tv like we love Adidas! 😉
