NEWS.- Loquillo and the Troglodytes they sang in the 80 that "I to be happy, I want a truck" and sure many and many will be happy this year although, instead of a truck, they have nothing less than a gay bus in which they will be able to cross the streets of London. Because if there is a characteristic image of London's capital are its two-story red buses and one of them will now wear the rainbow flag.
It is an initiative of Transport for London (TfL) y Stagecoach which implies showing the solidarity with LGBT workers of the company and, in turn, demonstrating in favor of the diversity of sexual and gender options. In that sense the director of the company, Leon Daniels has stated that "London is one of the world capitals of tourism and it is fantastic that all who live, visit or work in London have the opportunity to see this bus."
The vehicle will cover 8 line between Bow Road and Tottenham Court Road, passing on its way through some of the most iconic enclaves of the British capital. At the moment it is foreseen that it circulates during a year although, if the initiative curdles, we hope to see turned this bus into a whole LGTBI symbol for London.
