The insult, the push, the threat, the disqualification, the stone, the kick, the lynching, the beating. Even when? We live in a country where gays and lesbians can marry, adopt and form a family, but they can not take the subway without being insulted, they can not attend class without fear of being beaten, they can not kiss without being expelled from the restaurant on duty.
Today we just wanted to show you the video that was recorded by an American television channel, where a gay-looking boy walks through the streets of Manhattan. In three hours he received more than 50 insults and aggressions, some of them physical. In order to assess the response of passers-by, the stereotype was cast on the young man's appearance, but it is clear that this does not justify the avalanche of expletives to which he is subjected. The assessment he made at the end of the walk says it all. "It is devastating to think that this is what homosexuals have to experience in their daily lives".

Unfortunately we have to attach another video, in this case a real aggression and in the Madrid metro. The author of the recording is Jean Franco Salier, photographer of profession and gay who witnessed the events and decided to record if the thing was going to be able to present evidence.
Apparently the boys were sitting in the subway holding hands when a man started insulting them by calling them "fagots". Then he continued in a tone and threatening attitude saying that if they had done the mili now they would be real men.

If the Spanish State had adopted a law such as the one approved by the Parliament of Catalonia against homophobia and transphobia, today this gentleman, to call him in some way, would be denounced and, at least, pay a fine.
A joint positioning of all platforms, parties in favor of this law, is urgently needed and entities to pressure the legislative chambers. Not a single LGTBI vote can go to groups that do not support proposals of this type. And by the way, we should not forget neither the face of this individual nor who has just prevented the approval of a law with these characteristics in the Valencian Community.
