We are talking about celebrities "Doritos", a well-known snack that has just announced the creation of its "Doritos with rainbow flavor". Effectively when opening the bag we find the usual doritos in the colors of the rainbow. The initiative reminds us of that spot where a voiceover was wondering "What's the smell of clouds?" or the famous ones "Bertie Bott Dragees of all flavors" which Harry Potter and his friends are so fond of.
We ignore what each color knows, they may have chosen the typical association of fruit or vegetable flavors, red strawberry or tomato, lemon yellow or green peppermint or pepper, although it would be more poetic to play with colors and abstract flavors, what should violet know? And the pink?
What is poetic, and we would dare to say that we think it is a great idea, is the fact that it is not a product that has been put up for sale in the market, a more or less gay friendly fad. The bet of "Doritos" goes further. At the moment it is only available in the United States and consists more of an incentive to solidarity than a sale, because people interested in trying them receive them in their own home after donating 10 dollars to the “It Gets Better” association.
As you may recall, "It Gets Better" is a project whose purpose is to send a message of hope to adolescents and young people who suffer from school bullying or harassment in their environment.
