"CINHOMO", 15 cinema years LGTBI

"CINHOMO" celebrates the 15 edition of the only LGTBI film festival held in Castilla y León. Valladolid Triangle Foundation, through the volunteer team that works throughout the year to get ahead of the show, continues to prioritize the goal of offering quality films while claiming social equality regardless of orientation or sexual identity.

And they do it through a careful selection of fiction and documentary. This year they have 15 fiction feature films, 12 of them in the Official Competition Section and the rest in the Kaleidoscope and Joya sections. 20 fiction short films will also be screened. To them the documentaries of the IX Cycle of Human Rights and Sexual Minorities, counting on this occasion with 8 feature films and 6 documentary short films that bring us closer to 10 different countries. Regarding the cycle, the organizers say: “that it takes advantage of the documentary genre vehicle to install among viewers a more attentive awareness of the terrible reality of homosexual and transsexual people, persecuted for their sexual orientation or identity throughout the world, with risk of his own life to exercise his freedom, simply ”.

"CINHOMO" brings together feature films and short films previously selected by programmers at other international festivals such as the Berlinale, Lesgaicinemad, Sundance, Zinegoak or SEMINCI among others. The contest will be held from 13 to 19 in April and is based in the Casablanca cinemas of the capital of Valladolid.
