The short film that won the best short film award at the LGBT film festival FIRE !!! 2016
GAYLES.TV.- It is always distracted to watch short films and there are great ones, the problem is that they are not normally shown in theaters and, unless you see them at a festival, they go on to swell the lists of winners, you perform raw, scores of filmmakers, etc ... but they are forgotten in a drawer and we do not see them.
So today we bring you a very original short that focuses on sexual diversity and that also won the first prize in the short films section of the LGBT film festival FIRE !!!. of the 21 edition.
It has already been a year since "Everything will be fine, penguin" he put the audience in his pocket, but he is so cool, so funny, so tender and manages to explain such important things in such a simple and pleasant way, that we have decided to recover it so that you can see it.
The short is produced and directed by Miguel Bosch and had the support of Barcelona's town hall to be done. And what does it tell us? Well, something as simple as Sergio's story, who, as he himself explains, “I am a normal and happy boy, but when my mother was born she saw that I was not exactly the same as the rest of the people she knew. My name is Sergio and I'm the penguin boy".
From the foreground we are surprised by the delicacy and humor with which we are told about being and feeling different, from the search for love, from being accepted, from the need to form a family. And it does with scenes almost comic and with the irony of situations and phrases that pull a smile. There is no waste of the penguin-boy's mother talking about her feathers: "When I had it to my Sergio .... because he was born full of feathers. But What difference does it make if you have feathers or have hair? Now, yes, I left everything full of feathers ... at the end I put a cover on the sofa. "
In short, a little gem that during 10 minutes moves us and makes us reflect, but above all it refreshes us, that with this heat it does not come at all bad!
