The "Nativity scenes for all" campaign congratulates Christmas by claiming family diversity
GAYLES.TV.- What is a 2017 family like? This is the question that the creators of the "Nativity scenes for everyone" campaign have asked themselves when proposing their Christmas greeting. The answer has been clear: there is not one family, but many.
This project comes from the creative agency Madly with the idea of reflecting some of the familiar realities that we can find today. Under the title 'Nativity scenes for all', this set of congratulations aims to make us reflect on the concept of' family 'and give visibility and support to the models that are still being questioned in our society. And it does so by reinterpreting a traditional element as established in our culture as is the Bethlehem.
In the images we can see a couple of mothers, a couple of parents, a single mother, a single father, and a mother and a father with a son. In none of the cases are their gender identities questioned.
Visibility and rights
Adoption in homosexual couples, surrogate fatherhood or the protection of transgender children are some of the issues that many diverse families have to struggle with every day. Society advances and all family models and their respective rights should be respected.
"LGTBI couples with children, single mothers and fathers, mothers and fathers with adopted children, heterosexual, gay, bi, trans, intersex children ... We believe that what truly defines a family is LOVE. We are about to enter 2018, it is time to change the chip", Says David Mark, Creative Director of the campaign. "We wanted to congratulate the parties to everyone, regardless of their families, and in passing a reflection to society"Declares Ferran PocaCEO Madly.
