Barcelona joins the Rainbow Cities worldwide network
GAYLES.TV.- With the aim of fighting against discrimination and defending the rights of people LGTB + Barcelona has joined the network Rainbow Cities, a network of gay friendly cities where it will exchange initiatives and experiences on the collective's policies. In this way, the Ciudad Condal takes another step forward in the fight for diversity and equality of its citizens.
The council of Life Cycle, Feminisms and LGTBI of the Barcelona City Council wants to promote new policies and actively participate in this network of multicolored cities. Barcelona bring new local initiatives and your own experience related to equal rights in the community.
Is the 24ª city which is added to the network. They are part of Rainbow Cities: Amsterdam, Berlin, Bergen, Brighton & Hove, Cologne, Dumfries & Galloway, Geneva, Ghent, Hamburg, Hannover, Lithuania, Madrid, Mannheim, Mexico City, Munich, Nijmege, Rotterdam, The Hague, Turin, Utrecht, Vienna, Zurich and Esch-sur-Alzette.
