GAYLES.TV.- Sarah McBride He is 30 years old and has spent his entire life working in politics and activism, fighting for people's rights LGBT +. She has just made history as she has become the first senator tranny de United States. Its achievements include having stopped in 2019 the attempt to Donald Trump to cut health rights for transgender people.
McBride is originally from Wilmington, the fiefdom of the Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. With barely 24 years McBride was key in the approval in his state, Delaware, of legislation that prohibits discrimination based on gender identity in accessing work, housing, hiring insurance or access to public facilities.
In 2018 he published «Tomorrow Will Be Different«, A book where she recounts her experiences fighting for equality and her relationship with her husband, Andrew Cray, who died of cancer and whom she cared for until her death.
After becoming the first trans senator from Delaware and the United States, she tweeted: “We did it. We won the general election. Thank you thank you thank you. I hope tonight shows you a child LGBT + that our democracy is big enough for them too«.
