NEWS.- Girlie Circuit Festival has released the promotional video for its eighth edition. On this occasion they offer us a full production of force that invites lesbian and bisexual women to empower themselves and to break all the stereotypes with which they are usually isolated and labeled.
The former Miss Universe, Patricia Yurena and her partner, Dj Vanesa Klein, participate in the spot along with other women, 20 in total. There are lesbians and bisexuals, of different styles, ages and provenances, and it is precisely that the objective of the spot is to capture the great diversity of this group against the stereotyped image usually attributed to it.
The video starts with a voiceover that refers to how those clichés persist in our society. As the story progresses, the voice goes on to speak in the first person and the images show us different types of women, models, biker
s, artists, dj's, athletes, singers, they are all very different from each other, but they have something in common, they are women who love other women and feel proud of it.
A good way to start this eighth edition that will be held in Barcelona from the 11 to the 16 in August and which is expected to be attended by 10.000 women from all over the world.
