The victims claim to have suffered harassment for a year by the aggressors until they have been beaten on the same staircase
GAYLES.TV.- A trans woman and her partner claim to have suffered an attack this Monday night in the neighborhood of Horta de Barcelona by four of his neighbors. They denounce that for a year they have been harassed by neighbors so that they leave the building. The victim accuses three men and a woman of having nailed her and her partner, a beating with kicks and punches on the stairs of the same building where they live. They have also received death threats and insults on a continuous basis.
The Mossos d'Esquadra took a statement from them to clarify the facts and launch an investigation. Both went to the hospital after testifying. This Tuesday they were still in pain and mentally and physically exhausted, and they have said that they planned to go to the Observatory against Homophobia on Wednesday for advice.
The victim reported the events through her profile Instagram under the pseudonym @mutant_blade with a photograph of the attack and to thank «the immense support that you are giving us all over the world, we will never forget it ❤❤❤«.
Reactions to transphobic aggression
The councilor of Citizenship Rights, Marc serra, has rejected the aggression and has activated the protocol against this type of violence with the Observatory against Homophobia and the Office of Non-Discrimination. He has done so through his Twitter profile, in which he has also offered psychosocial legal support with the aim that the person attacked can report.

Also from the Trans Platform Federation have denounced on social networks what they describe as «new aggression by transodium«. Its president Mar Cambrollé, has called for protection measures: «This is bloody, how far will the escalation of hatred towards trans people take us? From Plataforma Trans we demand urgent measures to put a stop to and protect us. Our lives matter too. Trans people are experiencing an unprecedented attack, never seen before in a democracy. As a society, it is urgent to stop hatred. If we look the other way, before we know it we will have been inundated and there will be nowhere to look without feeling ashamed«.
