Transits is an international co-production with a cast and crew on both sides of the Atlantic
GAYLES.TV.- After delaying its premiere twice due to the pandemic, finally «Transits»Can be seen from December 10 at the La Gleva Theater de Barcelona within the framework of the festival From Grec to Grec.
The show delves into vital transits such as cancer, love or old age, through six characters LGTB +. Two trans women, a non-binary person, a young queer and two dragqueens will embody, from their dissident bodies and identities, human stories that escape their gender transits.
Often, trans people or dissidents are only called to speak as an object of study of their identities, as if their existence is only constructed from cis curiosity towards their deconstruction of gender. «Transits»It will not satisfy cis curiosity towards trans people, but rather makes them protagonists of human stories that have little to do with their gender identity,«because if we talk about it alone, we become that alone, and we are much more«.
Written by David Teixidó y Mariana percovich «Transits It is the result of a process of creation of almost two years between Catalonia, Argentina and Uruguay. A process interrupted, like everything else, by a pandemic that does not affect everyone equally and that threatens to make people who live on the margins of regulations even more invisible.
