GAYLES.TV.- The State Federation of Lesbians, Gays, Transsexuals and Bisexuals (FELGTB), just launched a campaign with the name "With a loud voice", which aims to raise awareness of the need to report homophobic crimes 
of any kind.
The central axis of the campaign is a video made with a hidden camera in which two actors embody a supposed pair of gay foreigners. The children have made a reservation online in a hostel and receive the response from the owner of the establishment in Spanish, which is why they ask for help from passers-by to translate it and thus be able to locate the address of the hostel. The point is that the note is full of homophobic insults and even physical threats, literally the owner of the hostel tells them "As I see you doing some queer in the hostel I'll take you to hosts". Although they are two actors, the reaction of passers-by is spontaneous, unprepared and surprising because of the awareness they show and the support they give to children.
With this campaign the FELGTB, through the page www.conlavozbienalta.org, encourages people to denounce homophobic attacks, since it has been found that, despite the fact that the 38% of the collective acknowledges having suffered some type of aggression or discrimination, only the 10% complaint. In fact the 57% have been insulted and in 4 of each 10 cases it has come to physical aggression.
The message that the FELGTB wants to spread is that discrimination is not a joke and that as people who suffer insults and scorn must denounce, the rest of society must show solidarity to eradicate the scourge of homophobia. On the other hand, we try to put pressure on the Government of Spain to push for a law against LGTBfobia, in line with the one approved by the Parlament de Catalunya.
