GAYLES.TV.- It is still curious how quickly social network censors sometimes act when it comes to vetoing nudity or displays of affection that, too easily, are labeled as pornography. However, pages, hashtags, images, proposals and all kinds of apologies for xenophobic, homophobic, and violent behavior slip through them and prosper without anyone tearing their censorious clothes.

This is the case that concerns us, that of a hashtag that emerged in Spain that was registered for the first time on Twitter on September 29 and whose dissemination has been added by users from Spanish-speaking countries. The hashtag in question is #SacrificaUnHomosexual and the staff has happily joined homophobic lynching with phrases like "If it's black better. So you kill two birds with one stone " and other similar delicacies.

The first reaction has come from the Socialist Youth of Spain which, through the mouth of its Secretary-General Nino Torre, has condemned the spread of the hashtag, "Twitter should ensure compliance with moral and ethical principles not allowing the dissemination of this type of messages. It is intolerable to use this type of hashtags in a worldwide social network, when today they are sacrificing people for their sexual orientation in many corners of the planet.

The truth is that it seems incredible that in a country where 88% of the population willingly accepts same-sex couples, a pioneer in the acceptance and normalization of the homosexual factor, movements of this type emerge that, under no circumstances, do justice to the average of Spanish public opinion.

It is clear that the mere statement of the hashtag implies an incitement to hatred against a group and that social networks are responsible for preventing and controlling that such explicit attacks against people do not prosper in their forums.

Using the same hashtag, a counter campaign has been initiated that denounces the barbarism, discrimination and cruelty of some people against LGTBI individuals. Hopefully in the future it will not be necessary to carry out campaigns against anything or anyone because no enlightened encounter echoes such cruel and unfortunate proposals.
