Fernando Olmeda and Lucía Etxebarria, among the winners

Among the winners, the Special Feather Award X Anniversary a Fernando Olmeda for his permanent involvement in the defense of the rights of LGTB + people. Olmeda is a renowned journalist (he has worked in a multitude of media, including Telecinco) and has published nine books. The Special Pen of the Year of Bisexual Visibility falls on the writer Lucía Etxebarria "For being a reference for bisexual people by publicly expressing their sexual orientation as well as for having given visibility to bisexuality in a narrative of great literary quality." The author who debuted in 1997 with "Love, curiosity, prozac and doubts" and won the Nadal prize for her second novel "Beatriz y los cuerpo celestes" she has always been characterized by an open narrative in the sexual field. His latest book "It is more dangerous not to love" deals with the new forms of sex-affective relationship in the XNUMXst century.

In the cultural field, the Musical pen «For transferring to the Spanish scene a classic work on the visibility of the LGTB + collective» falls to the play «Priscillla, queen of the desert. El Whip Award falls to the European Commission «For its lack of effective response to the refugee crisis that is causing one of the greatest humanitarian dramas in recent history and that particularly affects vulnerable people or those fleeing persecution because of their sexual orientation or identity as gender".
