Yesterday was a historic milestone for the fight against homophobia in the sports field. The Futbol Club Barcelona through its Foundation has for the first time adhered to the celebration of the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia which is celebrated on Sunday 17 May and has done so by signing a public commitment that positions the Club in favor of diversity and respect for sexual orientation in the world of sport and also to fight against homophobia.

The manifesto supposes a decalogue of good norms to eradicate the LGBT phobia and was elaborated, at the request of the Club, by members of the Iberian Sports Association and Grogues Panthers  whose President, Jacques Schoof, was among those attending the presentation ceremony.
