PP and Citizens claim to have preserved LGTBI rights in their pacts with the ultra-rightist VOX
GAYLES.TV.- Insults intelligence read leaders of Citizens and PP boasting of having preserved LGTBI rights in their pacts with VOX. It would be like agreeing with the devil and be glad to get him to leave the horns on the coat rack when he comes to dinner at home. Pure demagogy.
Who follow the series of "The Maid's Tale" or have read the novel of Margaret Atwood, you will know what I mean when I refer to the Republic of Gilead: a theocratic dystopia where torture, rape, denial of rights and even executions are regularized, especially against women and of course against LGBTI people. Why bring up Gilead here? Because perhaps what is most frightening are the comments of some of its protagonists about the fact that they did not see it coming, that they did not know how to interpret the signals, that underestimated the signs. Until it was too late. And, without reaching those extremes of fiction, something similar may be happening here and now.
The VOX pacts with PP and C's are the Trojan horse from whose belly, in the long term, conditions that will seriously damage our rights as a collective and our quality of life will emerge. Nobody wakes up one day and discovers that all rights conquered for years have been taken away from you, no. Fascism acts as the Malay drop that corrodes the rock of our achievements and rights until reversed, annulled and sent back to the caverns of silence and denial.
And it is that VOX has seen clearly that it did not need to apply its maximum requirements such as repealing the “Law on Identity and Expression of Gender and Social Equality and Non-Discrimination” of the Community of Madrid, no. Simply empty these content laws, cut their reach, limit their application and, above all, counteract in other areas such as education. And there they have given the pact, well, it would be better to say there they have given us all, because in the long term that and no other is the greatest danger that the pacts contain with VOX.
To condition the education that our children receive and when I say our children I mean those of an entire society, who in the future will regulate and guide our lives and our coexistence. Well, what VOX intends and is getting in some communities is to sow the seed of hatred against difference, the denial of diversity and make it impossible to educate the school-age population in respect for others always, whatever their option sexual, gender identity or family from which it comes.
And how does this happen? Well, with measures such as the document of "Parental pin" which forces the management teams of the centers to take their sons and daughters out of talks on topics such as bullying or sexual choice. Or it also happens to authorize the free movement of the sadly famous orange bus that comes to remind us that “Boys have penis and girls have vulva” and if you don't feel that way you are a freak and with you at the stake.
One of the sour cherries of this perverse pasteleo del trifach is the elaboration of blacklists with professionals in the educational field who have given talks on sexual diversity. Yes, we start with the blacklists, to the wall with them. And we could continue with the recognized resources to the Catholic and Concerted School in the Valencian Community against the protocols to accompany trans minors in the classrooms. Something similar to what happens in Castilla y Leon where it is argued that "Applying that protocol would violate the ideological freedom of the parents". Apparently nothing is as important as preserving the right of some families to have their children educated in hatred of difference, in denial of diversity. Disgust.
But what really generates repulsion is that those who offer to agree, who de facto agree, the defense of our rights is arrogated, they are hypocritically wrapped in the LGTBI flag to scratch votes from our collective. They are offended when they are denied the right to parade in the Pride and strategically place rainbow flags after the declarant of turn in the news. Enough of so much hypocrisy, so much demagogy and so much perverse use of our struggle and our rights.
Because those pacts have consequences and serious. From the outset they legitimize the violence and give wings to the aggressions that have increased dramatically in recent months and not only in number, but also in virulence.
It is necessary to systematically dismantle the lies or half-truths of some pacts that harm us now and undermine the foundations of our rights in the future. We must denounce any attempt to appropriate our struggle and our discourse. But above all we must preserve education, the inalienable right of citizens to be educated in the principles of equality, respect, freedom and diversity. The reactionary thinking of some fathers and mothers cannot be above the rights of all citizens, including those of their own sons and daughters.
The approval of a state-level LGTBI law that preserves our rights and prevents the extreme right to indoctrinate in hatred, denial and violence is urgently needed. Otherwise those LGTBI clauses that remain in the empty content agreements, not only have the days counted, but will eventually disappear.
And YES, we affirm it emphatically, nobody should be complicit in the interference of VOX in matters of education. Paraphrasing Ruffian, "Ladies and gentlemen of the trifachito, get your dirty hands off our schools and institutes".
