From LGTB activist to homophobic pastor

GAYLES.TV.- On January 27, the movie “I'm Michael" directed by Justin Kelly It is a film full of love, denial and redemption. The movie released Sundance in 2015 tells the true story of Michael Glatze (James Franco). Glatze was a young gay activist founder of an LGTB magazine who reneged on his homosexuality to become a Christian pastor. The story jumped to the public years ago when Benoît Denizet-Lewis wrote the article "My ex-gay friend"In The New York Times narrating the existential crisis of his writing partner, Michael Glatze.

I AM MICHAEL JAMES FRANCO GAYLES.TVThe film focuses on his life as a gay activist in San Francisco with her boyfriend Bennett (Zachary Quinto), the struggles for progay rights, his career as a journalist in the XY magazine and the days of sexual awakening. After a traumatic medical episode, Glatze denies his homosexuality, his environment and his lifestyle. After a year of existential crisis, he points out his sexual identity as the cause of his problems. It was then that he explores religions and finally finds an answer in a Wyoming country where he meets his girlfriend Rebekah (Emma Roberts) and becomes pastor of a fundamentalist church.

El morbid of the film is not only to see the evolution of a person who defends gay rights to then become a homophobic of book capable of releasing things like "lto homosexuality is by its very nature pornographic, destroys the mind of adolescents and confuses their sexual development". Neither is it a real case that shocked a country. What is really morbid is sexual threesome starring Franco, Zachary Quinto y Charlie Carver. Here the trailer, to see the trio we recommend big screen.
