NEWS.- Yesterday We advanced in editorial format and today, at last, we can give the one that will undoubtedly be the most outstanding news of the decade for all members of the LGTBI community. The Law that explicitly protects lesbian, transsexual and bisexual rights and that eradicate homophobia.
The architect has been the Parliament of Catalonia with the votes against the Popular Party. For its part, Convergencia i Unió has allowed the members of its group to vote. But the great promoters of the law have been the working groups for the rights of the community that we cannot fail to mention here, with our deepest gratitude: FAGC, AFGL, CASAL LAMBDA and GAIS POSITIUS. The law will affect in the first instance the citizens of Catalonia as an autonomous community, but I would like to remember here the words of Neil Armstrong by setting foot on the moon, his mythical phrase: "This is a small step for man and a great leap for humanity". Exactly this is what happens with the approval of this law, which sets a precedent for democratic parliaments around the world, a hope gap for the entire LGBTI collective.
