Last Wednesday, about the 21 hours, neighbors alerted the police alarmed by the noise coming from the victim's home. When they arrived at the house, the agents found Fernando, already corpse, tied up on the bed and with signs of having received numerous blows throughout the body that apparently were the cause of his death. The autopsy that will be practiced tomorrow at the Institute of Legal Medicine will confirm this information. The interior of the house was completely upset, even though no one had forced the entrance door.
Fernando Lumbreras, who was 60 years old, lived alone and both neighbors and relatives describe him as "an excellent person, very educated and very supportive." Lambda Valencia has published on his Twitter account that it is "a sad day" because Lumbreras, «One of the first people in charge of Lambda, has been found dead in his house. (…) Above all, we want to remember and honor the great work that Fernando did for LGTBI rights. As a fighting brother, we will always remember you », the text continues.
