They wanted to take him to a doctor to 'cure' his homosexuality
GAYLES.TV.- A man of 37 years and a woman of 35 have been arrested in Valencia by mistreat your son for years for being gay. They have been charged with a crime of habitual mistreatment in the family environment aggravated by conduct constituting a hate crime, after hitting and insulting him for years by not accepting his sexual orientation.
La Superior Headquarters said in a statement that the investigation began in mid-February when the Police was aware that the child could be object of abuse. The child would have lived with his grandparents in his country of origin until he came to Spain to live with his parents.
After not accepting their homosexuality they began to hit him and insult him. They even suggested to their son that if he changed they would give him more freedom and would take him to a doctor to «cure him«.
The detainees have been released after going to court with a restraining order. Both had a criminal record. The child has been placed under the custody of a relative.
