The news has recently surprised us with what seems to be an obvious homophobic crime or hate. We refer to the recent murder of a young lesbian couple en Port Bolivar, Texas, whose inert bodies were abandoned next to a rubbish dumpster in the early morning of March's 7.

From Gayles.tv we show the utmost respect for an investigation that is still ongoing and that could reveal other motives in this double crime. But what is undeniable is the fact that this type of acts, Unfortunately, they are neither unique nor isolated.

The recognition in June of the 2013 Gay Marriage by the federal government after a ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States, has provoked the more conservative sectors of American society. The number of states that legalized it in the past year doubles those that existed until then. The far right and the ultraconservatives are stirring restlessly in their cavern. And you know: the impotence generates violence and ignorance too.
