LB Talks: Politicians, artists, activists and lesbian executives will star in the conference "Building outside of paper"

The next March 26 will be held, in person in Barcelona and simultaneously online in streaming, the third LB Talks day 2022 under the motto 'Building out of paper', co-organized by Canarian Institute of Equality (ICI) and LB Talks. An analysis of the current situation and challenges of lesbian women from the labor, social and geopolitical point of view in Spain, the US and Latin America will be carried out. actress and comedian Anabel Alonso will be the conductor of the event that will take place in the Old Estrella Damm Factory in Barcelona.

The sessions are aimed at all people committed to equality, diversity and human rights. They intend to promote inclusive visibility of the group of lesbian and bisexual women in society, disseminating and raising awareness through personal experiences in order to promote an equal and free society. The day will begin with the Keynote starring Bisila Bokko, enterprising woman and winner of United Nations, speaker on international leadership issues and expert on diversity and inclusion.

After the Keynote, the first module will continue; “The role of diversity in companies as a key to success”. In it, practical cases will be analyzed and debated on actions and projects in the field of inclusion and diversity led by entities with an international scope. We will count for this table with Noelia Mansilla (President EMEA, Dümmen Orange), Esther Gomez Martin (Principal, Mercer) and Alice Ruiz de la Sierra (Chief People Operations, The Cocktail), all moderated by Alaitz Blanquer (Chief People Office, Bold).

What challenges do lesbian women face when starting a family? To obtain answers they will participate in this table Sonia Sebastián (Director, screenwriter and film producer based in Los Angeles), Rocio Saiz (Activist, artist and singer of the group Las Chillers), Maria Giralt Castells (Director – Gayles.tv), Gemma Castillon Cortes (Medical Director – IVI Barcelona), Martha Lliteras (former professional rugby player) and Paloma del Río, sports commentator.

The third and last module of the day poses the following question: “Can diversity be exported? Advances in equality in Spain, Latin America and the USA”. We will analyze these advances with Marta Higueras (Councillor of the Madrid City Council), Monica Tacher (Director of International Technological and Economic Affairs) and Linda Caruso (Commercial Attaché, Embassy of the United States in Spain). In addition to the previous modules, throughout the day there will be different networking sessions, activities directed and promoted by Christina Aranda (Co-founder of MujeresTech and Co-founder of Big Onion).

La III Conference of ICI and LB Talks will be closed by the organizing entities with Kika Smoker, Director of the Canarian Institute for Equality, belonging to the Government of the Canary Islands and Maria Colom, President of the LB Talks association.
