Russia fines Apple for gay emoticons

GAYLES.TV.- If it weren't for the fact that the issue of homophobia in Russia is very serious and generates suffering for many people, it would be like opening a fixed weekly humor section called something like "The last homophobic Russian bullshit". And we do not know whether to laugh or cry with the Russian tone outputs.

The thing is Apple could face a fine of one million rubles which in dollars is equivalent to about 15.000, for having included couples of people of the same sex in the form of "emojis" or emoticons on the keyboards of their phones, specifically on the built-in iOS keyboard. The point is that with that decision the company would be violating the infamous "Law against homosexual propaganda" and damaging to the young Russians to those that of typing pairemojis gais Gayles.tvYou guys seem to put them a lot.

The investigation began when Orthodox activist and lawyer Yaroslav Mikhailov filed a complaint alleging that the images of the emoticons entered full in the assumptions of the controversial law that since 2013 year prohibits the promotion of homosexuality to minors. As a result, the local police in the Russian region of Kirov began an investigation which is now being carried out by Russian police officers to determine whether there has indeed been a breach of the law.

Apple's response has been overwhelming: in the next version of iOS, the 9.1, will increase the number of "emojis" on the keyboard without distinction of gender or sexual orientation. Ole by Apple and infinite thanks to the Russian authorities who give so much to talk about and write about.
