In addition, there were also several fires in the area where he lived, according to the association.

The event took place last January 24 around three in the morning, in a shack located in a pine forest area next to an abandoned block in It's Carnatge. While working on the extinction work, the troops found the body of a man who died as a result of the flames. The shack was completely burned. It so happens that it is not the first fire that occurs in the place, although until now no human damage had been recorded.

clarify the causes

The entity has conveyed its condolences and support to the family and has called on society to publicize the existence of the Comprehensive Care Service (SAI) of the Consell de Mallorca, to accompany and advise victims of LGBTophobia and their relatives. Ben Amics has indicated that the family is concerned about the media's treatment of the event, as well as the process of the police and judicial investigation, to discern whether it was an alleged homicide due to aporophobia, homophobia or racism.

However, the association is studying the feasibility of appearing as a private prosecution for the defense of the legitimate interests of the LGTBI community. For its part, the National Police is still investigating the causes of this tragic event.
