On Gayles.tv we are partying because today we turn one year old. On that day like today we were excited to finally see our television on the move, the first video, the first texts, the first steps in the end of a creature that from the hand of all you guys has started and that no longer There will be who will stop it.
Taking stock of these months makes you feel like you are climbing a mountain attentive to the stones of the road, to the obstacles, to the points of support in the rock and only when you stop and look back you realize the immense path traveled. Because we started three and we are almost 50.000 friends on Facebook, because we showed our first news story to family and friends and today almost half a million people have seen our videos and more than 300.000 have read our texts.
And we are proud, of course, proud of the hundred long reports, of making you arrive every day the most relevant information, entertain you and start a smile, but also remove your consciences and provoke your indignation.
That is why we have fulfilled our vocation to give voice to all LGTBI associations that need to be heard, but we have also danced, sung and celebrated with you, we have accompanied the theater and the cinema, we have shared the popcorn on the couch watching your favorite series, reading our magazines and our books. We talked about fashion, trends, art, business and gastronomy ... We even went on a cruise!
We will not tire of thanking all those who have dedicated their time, thank you from the heart.
But above all, what gives us meaning and strength to continue is knowing that we can be a hope for so many people who look at us from inside infinite closets, from imposed silences, from darkness and fear. For adolescents who doubt and suffer alone. For those who suffer persecution, for people who cannot express themselves, who cannot live freely who they are and how they love. Hopefully we get to be the window wide open, hopefully we can bring the light to end all that darkness. For all of you, for all of you, let us fulfill many more!
