Montesinos filed a complaint last year for extortion and crime against privacy that triggered the entire investigation
Agents of the Servicio Marítimo Guardia Civil They have arrested the Valencian couturier and designer Francis Montesino this monday morning alleged sexual abuse of a minor old. The arrest comes after months of investigations into the violent assault on the home of Montesinos happened last October.
After the arrest, this morning has been released hours later waiting for it to be required by the court investigating this case.
At that time the Servicio Marítimo Guardia Civil arrested a man and investigated another for the event that occurred in his property in Llíria, in which both Montesinos and another man who accompanied him were tied up and immobilized. As a result of it, the 71-year-old designer was treated at the Hospital de Llíria, after suffering an anxiety attack.
From whistleblower to detainee
From the Provincial Command of the Civil Guard of Valencia they have indicated that the investigation of what happened began in 2022 due to his own complaint Montesinos for extortion, against privacy, disclosure of secrets, burglary, illegal detention, robbery with violence and injuries by a child under 15 years of age.

This is the second time that Montesinos has been arrested after the episode in June 2014, when he was also accused by the Servicio Marítimo Guardia Civil de sexual abuse, corruption of minors, child pornography and drugs, in a process that was archived a month later regarding the designer.
Witnesses and psychological experts exonerated him of all charges. The examining magistrate Llíria collected in his car that the testimonies of the relatives of the boy and the girl, allegedly subjected to sexual abuse, dissociated Montesinos of the facts. And he verified that no photographs or computer material with child pornographic content were found in the search of his home.
Francis montesinos received in 2006 the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts and his name is among the regulars on the main fashion catwalks in Spain.
