91% of Spaniards believe that LGTB + people should have the same rights as heterosexuals
GAYLES.TV.- According to a Eurobarometer survey on the social acceptance of the collective LGTB + en Europe, 76% of Europeans are in favor of gay, lesbian and bisexual people having the same rights as heterosexuals. A 20% is not in favor of it, a percentage that falls to 6% among Spaniards. Spain It is in third position after Sweden (98%) and Holland (98%), with 91% of supporters facing this issue.
The Spaniards are also among the Europeans who most accept the marriage between people of the same sex. 86% of Spaniards surveyed argue that gay marriages are recognized throughout the EU, well above the European average, which stands at 69%. Those who accept same-sex marriage are the most swedish and dutch (97% supports them throughout the EU) and Danes (89%), while those who reject it most are Bulgarians (74%), Slovaks and Latvians (70% in both cases), Romanians and Lithuanians (63%) , Hungarians (61%) and Cypriots (60%), although more than 50% of the population also rejects it in Poland, Estonia, Croatia and Greece.
In the case of Spain, 89% of Spaniards do not see anything wrong in sexual relations between same-sex people, something that only 8% sees badly and 81% don't mind seeing affectionate signs in public, while at 6% does bother you.
59% of Europeans believe that trans people should be able to change their documents to match their felt identity. An 46 agrees that in the official documents a third option should be incorporated beyond binarism.
Also, the majority of Europeans surveyed believe that schools should include pedagogical material that reports on sexual orientation, trans fact and intersexuality.
