Second edition of the LGBTI visibility campaign in the territory
VIDEO GAYLES.TV | "Even if you think I'm different, I'm like you" is the motto chosen by the participants of the campaign in the Baix Llobregat. Unlike the previous year, carried out in the region of Osona, on this occasion they wanted to focus on the other and question him by adding the tagline "Although you think that". The objective of this action is make visible the reality of LGTBI people living in the territory.
The situation of the LGTBI collective that lives in towns and small cities presents remarkable differences with respect to those lived in a large city and its metropolitan area: the lack of meeting places, more possibility of being victims of more or less subtle LGTBIphobia, the feeling of having to move to the capital to live according to their gender identity or sexual orientation.
This campaign, based on an original idea of Gender and LGBT Lab and produced by Gayles.tv, has been made thanks to the support of the area of Attention to the People of the Diputació de Barcelona - Management of Equality and Citizenship Services -.
We especially appreciate the collaboration of Ajuntament de Sant Feliu de Llobregat, With the help of Lídia Muñoz Cáceres y Miriam Paz Salgado and the associations Violeta y Sant Boi in Positiu.
