Legalized gay marriage across the US

LAST MINUTE.- The United States Supreme Court has ruled today that same-sex marriage is a constitutional right - paving the way for gay weddings in all 50 states of the Union.

It was known that the 9 judges that make up the Supreme Court could issue a ruling on the matter next Monday, but the decision has caught everyone by surprise. The victory was achieved by a tight 5-4 vote, but it supports that same-sex marriage is a constitutional right and that all the United States must recognize marriages elsewhere.

Justice Anthony Kennedy was joined by Justices Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan in voting for equality, while Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Scalia, Alito, and Thomas voted against.

The first reaction has been the Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton who has rushed to post on his Twitter account a message claiming to feel "Proud to celebrate a historic victory for the country and the courage and determination of the LGBT Americans who have made it possible."

We can not think of a better way to celebrate this historic week of Pride. Congratulations to all the USA and all your LGTBI community!
