Paulo Vaz committed suicide after suffering brutal transphobic attacks on social media
The Brazilian trans policeman and influencer Paul Vaz committed suicide in San Pablo after being subjected to all kinds of transphobic attacks on social networks. The Brazilian content creator, who had more than 200 thousand followers on Instagram, had been enduring all kinds of insults and harassment on social networks for more than three weeks.
Vaz, 37, was married to youtuber Peter H.M.C.. According to the local press, the trigger for his suicide would have been the leaking of a sexual video of his former partner with another man and the violent reaction of followers of the networks. The couple, who had an open relationship, entered among the most commented topics in Twitter on Sunday.
A situation that unfortunately led him to the point of wanting to stop living, although the exact causes of his death have not yet been determined.
