Two homosexuals are stoned in Syria

LAST HOUR.- The Islamic State has stoned two men in Syria for possession of recordings in which they appeared having homosexual relations, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

One of them, a young man of 20 years, was executed last Tuesday with stones in a street of Al Hamedia, in Deir Ezzor, a point near the border with Iraq. The second young man, who had no relationship with the first, only had 18 years and the same method was used to end his life. He was accused of having photographs committing "indecent" acts with other men.

Always according to the Observatory, it would be the first executions of homosexuals that the terrorist group would carry out. Some sources coincide in pointing out that the homosexuality of these young people would have been used as an excuse to execute them, since activists against the Islamic State have assured that both men were opposed to the caliphate regime that the Islamic State imposed in June after conquering areas of Iraq and Syria.

Unfortunately, public executions are a common occurrence throughout the territory occupied by jihadists.
