International Day against LGTBIphobia in Soccer

Justin Fashanu (February 19, 1961 - May 2, 1998) was treated with hostility after becoming the first footballer of any fame to publicly identify himself as gay. In 1998, after being charged without evidence of sexual assault, he committed suicide.
