A minor under the age of 17 has been detained in Elche (Alicante) accused of a hate crime and injuries from, allegedly, hitting two people of the same sex when they were walking hand in hand down the street Fora steak of that city, one of which, in addition, broke the nose with a punch.
The arrested person, of Spanish nationality and with a previous history, allegedly committed the assault due to the homosexual condition of the couple and the Office of the Children's Office has arranged their admission to a reception center for minors. The victims, both of the same sex, were walking hand in hand, along with some friends, in the vicinity of the Elche Conference Center. His partner tried to stop him, pulling hard on his arms, at which point the assailant became more violent and allegedly punched him in the face. At that moment, the attacked man began to bleed profusely from his nose and, allegedly, the minor continued to beat and kick him more.

Hate crime
Witnesses to the event called the Police and they told the agents who went immediately to the place that they witnessed how the aggressor was still carrying out his violent action against the victims, for which the police officers proceeded to arrest him.
The victims declared in police stations that, apparently, the arrested person identified a bracelet and a key ring that they had visible with the flag LGTBI and that he attacked them solely because of their homosexual condition.
They also reported having heard perfectly how, after the attack, while the alleged perpetrator and the group of people who were with him fled the scene when the police patrols arrived, someone shouted at them: «So you know who's boss, you fucking fagots«. Words that both they and some of the people who accompanied them could hear. The National Police The investigation continues to determine if there are any other participants in the assault.
