The film narrates the relationship between Armando, a mature man unable to recognize himself as homosexual to the point of rejecting physical contact and Elder, the young gang leader of a small band of criminals. In the scene of the convulsed city of Caracas, Armando looks for young people in the bus stops to observe them naked in exchange for money. Until the day he meets Elder and takes him home. Between them a strange relation of dependence will arise that will advance from the initial rejection of the young man to the love that provokes him the father figure of Armando, for whom he will do things that he did not believe he was capable of performing. Two characters with deep emotional deficiencies separated by a system of social classes more present in Venezuela than some want to recognize

The film has all the elements to keep the public hanging from the screen for over an hour and a half: Money, violence and sex are intertwined in an improbable love story narrated in a nude and subtle way.

It is therefore an interesting proposal but, as we mentioned at the beginning of the text, it did not have the endorsement of all the criticism to be credited with the Mostra's award. For many it was a surprise that "From there" of imposing sacred cows as Love Gitai, Sokuroz or Skolimowski that they left the contest with empty hands. The film by Lorenzo Vigas was received by the critics with warm applause but not particularly enthusiastic and in any case it was not among the favorites. Some media point to the overwhelming presence of Latin American cinema to justify this decision.
