We wonder how it is possible that the Spanish embassy in Turkey could not locate a Spanish citizen and her partner, if they were detained in the police stations in Istanbul?

28 / 04 / 2017 GAYLES.TV | Jimena Rico has become in touch with his mother from Istanbul to tell him Is in good health. 27/04/2017 GAYLES.TV | A woman residing in the Málaga municipality of Torrox has reported the disappearance of her daughter to the Civil Guard, María Jimena Rico Montero, a young girl from 28 who, apparently, was in Turkey with her girlfriend Shaza, a Muslim woman next to whom she had fled from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) after being denounced by her own family because of their homosexual relationship.

In the complaint the mother of the disappeared, Ramona Teresa Montero, has indicated that around the 22.15 hours of this past Sunday held a telephone conversation with his daughter, who explained that he was in the Turkish town of Samsun about to take a bus to Istanbul.

According to the mother's story, the young woman warned him that if he did not hear from her before noon on Monday contact the embassy because "something bad had happened to him", and since that time he has not had contact with his daughter again.

The missing woman, who works in London, had traveled a few days earlier to Dubai with her partner - a woman of Egyptian nationality, but with residence in this emirate - to visit her mother, because they had warned her that she was seriously ill, but on arrival they discovered that it was not so and that, apparently, it was all a strategy of the father "to keep her in that country."

The mother of the disappeared She added that both women learned that their parents had denounced their daughter for homosexuality, so they had to leave the country and landed in Georgia, where, after spending three days at friends' house, they were to take the flight back to London.

However, the trip could not be made because, apparently, the relatives of the young Egyptian woman were there and tried to take her by force, they broke her visa and María Jimena's passport, as well as threatening them with death, so both the couple like the father were arrested by the Georgian police.

The mother has detailed that, after being released, the two women were taken to the Turkish border and, after several attempts, managed to enter the country and take a bus to Samsun, where they were stopped again and released hours later, being transferred to the bus station, from where they were going to travel to Istanbul.

As he has specified, both young women intended to stay in a hotel and go to the Spanish embassy in Istanbul, "but never made it to the hotel," so the mother has expressed her fear for the life of her daughter and the other woman "Since homosexuality is a highly persecuted crime in Arab countries."

Since then nothing is known about them.
