The Spanish Stonewall
Unfortunately, this place suffered one of the biggest attacks on sexual freedom in our country. During the night of June 24, 1971 there was a large police raid and more than 300 people were arrested. The authority decreed the closure of 23 premises night and the imposition of fines on their owners of up to twenty thousand pesetas for alleged attacks against public morality.
