ALEC has been presented in Barcelona, the first Association of Lesbian Entrepreneurs of Catalonia
GAYLES.TV.- There are many professional, commercial and associative initiatives that occur in the LGTBI environment, but few of a specifically lesbian nature. There is a contingent of professional lesbian women from different fields who work in isolation but as of today already have a tool capable of coordinating them.
ALEC It was born as an instrument of competitiveness based on cooperation between enterprising lesbian women and aims to be a space for personal and professional growth through the organization of workshops, training and exchange.
The professional profiles and the origin of the members of ALEC are diverse, from the world of advertising, the media, the company or trade in general. There is no small project if the attitude is positive and entrepreneurial, that's why the objective of ALEC is to weave a network of empowerment, visibility and professional growth of the lesbian woman.
There are three work areas that, from the outset, arise from ALEC. First of all we would have the Courses and workshops taught by professional women. Two are already planned for the month of February: The 5 keys of digital marketing that will work on the possibilities of using digital marketing for your company and Improve your assertiveness at work, that will delve into the duties and rights in the workplace. The second way are the Lesbian Networking, meetings between professional lesbians in a playful and relaxed environment that enables participants to present their business projects, thereby facilitating contact, expansion and exchange. The first of them was held last 28 day in the framework of the presentation of ALEC. And finally, it would be the scope of ALEC Club Services, which would work as a work contact where you can find professionals from any branch, from the design of web pages to psychological care and where, of course, you can also offer your product or professional project.
On the ALEC website, it is also planned to find activities related to the Leisure and Culture, from adventure sports, tournaments of different sports disciplines, dance classes or even Les friendly weekend spas!
ALEC is born from the hand of a group of lesbian women living in Catalonia but it is open to professionals from the rest of Spain and of course of any other nationality. "The more women we form the network, the greater our strength and our empowerment."
The initial ALEC team consists of Maria Giralt (Gayles.tv, Bollo and Butter), Chus González (DJ Lady Chus,Nenis Lesbian Party), Celina Koekenbier (Magles Magazine, MagLes Match APP), Ana Satchi (InOut Radio,Visible Festival) and Paula Alcaide (Psychologist,Gaviotas Group).
At the ALEC presentation on December 28, the first Lesbian Networking, where women from different professional fields made their business and business project known to the 50 women who attended the event. On this occasion they participated, Txus Montejano (muralist), Núria Esteller (CREAT- Learn to arrive at the emotional filling of the teu cos), Marta Méndez (Yoga teacher), Maria José Jiménez (Positive action - Playful Coaching and Integrative Coaching), Mercè Bellera (Photographer), Paula Alcaide (Psychologist), Bea Ordóñez (Digital Marketing) and Magali Dalix, coach Operación Triunfo. It also counted on the presence of Paloma Pujol, World freestyle footbal champion. The Lesbian Networking sessions will be held on a regular basis.
