The Mostra Fire!! recovers attendance and turns Barcelona into the capital of LGTBIQ+ cinema
La Show Fire!! returns to offer, once again, the best of LGTBI cinema of the national and international panorama, converting Barcelona at its headquarters in 9 al 19 de junio. An edition that will be attended by world-renowned creators of the audiovisual world and in which the capacity will not be restricted, since it is planned to carry out all activities normally, allowing attendees to enjoy the purest and most characteristic essence of the festival.
In the words of its director, Antoine Leonetti"It fills us with joy to be able to recover full attendance this year. We return with the projections to the French Institute of Barcelona, which continues at the same level as in 2019 and, as always, with a careful selection of feature films, documentaries and short films. We will once again have parallel activities, as well as tours outside of Barcelona. The public will find, therefore, the usual festival, with its terrace included, to enjoy the best LGTBI cinema in the world."
For the poster and the graphic image, a winged character representing the Phoenix has been chosen. For the second consecutive year, the Show Fire!! of Casal Lambda carries out the LGTBI film development lab with the aim of encouraging its production and marketing in Spain. Thus, from June 13 to 15, the authors of the selected projects will receive tutoring by prominent professionals in the national and international audiovisual industry in artistic areas such as script, direction and production.

Movies like Serbia will be scheduled «celts", from Milica Tomović, in which in a Serbia at war a group of friends «look for something new to get out of reality«, with a protagonist, miarijana, that you will experience new situations in your life. It will be released in Spain, it will be the finalndesa «Girl Picture (Tytöt tytöt tytöt)», by Max Alli Haapasalo, with a plot that takes place on three consecutive Fridays in the lives of two young people.
They will also screen the Italian «Mascarpone", from Alexander Guide y matthew pilati; «moneyboys«, by C. B. Yi, a co-production of Austria, France, Taiwan and Belgium; «The Hill Where Lionesses Roar«, Luàna Bajrami (France-Kosovo); «The Swimmer«, by the Israeli Adam Kalderon, and «Wet sand", also Luàna Bajrami (France-Kosovo).
In the documentaries section, you can see, among others, «Cinnamon", of Argentina cecilia del valle; "Seyran Ates: Sex, Revolution and Islam", from Nefise Özkal Lorentzen (Norway), and the American «Sochs On Fire», Bo McGuire.

They are already at tickets for the 27th edition of the Mostra FIRE!! through which 25 different countries will pass (Germany, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, USA, Egypt, Spain, Finland, France, Georgia, Greece, Holland, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Lebanon , Norway, the Netherlands, Serbia, Switzerland and Taiwan) spread over the 22 feature films, 9 documentaries and 20 short films that make up the billboard.
In addition to the face-to-face programming at the French Institute, the festival also can be seen on Filmin having access to the films scheduled from June 9 to 19 (both included) and having a two-month subscription to the platform for a price of 15 euros.
